1.23 Day 23

Right now, all the boys have in common is a gender and an eating time.

Laundry time.
Nozomi's head hurts to think about how much cleaning she's going to have to do with three kids in the house.
Oh wait, that's her back hurting. Or is it her feet? Pregnancy aches and pains are hard to keep track of sometimes.

"Freaking brilliant!" Nozomi mutters darkly. It seems like they just got this thing fixed.

She searches for a magical repair potion.
Oh wait.
It's called an electrician.

Or Taras.
That works, too.

Nozomi shares the news of her pregnancy with her friends.
It burns on the tip of her tongue to make a party out of it, but images of her sons crying and waves of dirty laundry drowning her guests stops her.
There's always Melor's birthday, she reminds herself. A kid's party is better than no party.

Party or not, Nozomi feels she has plenty to celebrate.

"Hey, you're getting heavy," Nozomi observes as she picks up Tobias. She swears these kids are sprouting instead of growing.

With a huff, she settles down in the rocking chair.
Life is changing fast. Nozomi feels like she can barely keep up.
But she'll manage.

As Taras runs back from work, he does a double take.
When did their house get so big?

Maybe at the same time his sons did.

AN: Oh my gosh, when will she give brith??
I'm kind of anxious to get Nozomi working again- their household funds are dwindling fast and fortune telling isn't very lucrative until the higher levels of the career.

  1. Cute toddlers!

Ugh, yeah, maternity leave is terrible with the performing careers. Why can't they at least perform for tips?

    1. They are very cute, but I can't wait for them to be kids.

Right? They could just grey out the dangerous tricks (like the ball of fire) for magicians. And it makes no sense that a singer can't sing for tips while pregnant! Is the intensity of her vocals going to hurt the baby or something??

  2. I hate, hate, hate the maternity leave system in TS3. It makes it so hard for female sims to advance.

    1. Yes, indeed. Nozomi's spent about a third of her YA stage in maternity leave, and since she can't actually do any of her work while on maternity leave, she's been stuck at level 5 *forever*.
